This Belgian-made semi-automatic pocket pistol is chambered for 7.65mm ammunition and features a compact design intended for personal defense. The firearm is equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a rear notch integrated into the slide. Key markings include the two-line manufacturer address on the left side of the slide reading ANCIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER HERSTAL-BELGIUM and the caliber designation CAL. 7.65 MODELE DEPOSE. The matching serial number 109764 is stamped on the rear left side of both the frame and the slide. The right side of the frame and slide display Belgian proof marks including a lion over PV and a crown over R. The pistol is fitted with black checkered hard rubber grip panels featuring the BAYARD name within a banner. This lot includes one detachable box magazine marked CAL. 7.65 and a black synthetic soft-side holster with a metal belt clip. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The nickel-plated finish shows significant wear with widespread flaking, surface oxidation, and areas of light pitting, most notably on the right side of the frame and slide. The checkered hard rubber grips remain intact with some smoothing to the texture and minor handling marks. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The accompanying magazine shows finish wear and surface oxidation. The synthetic holster is in good utility condition.
