Description
This sporterized bolt-action rifle is built on a Remington Model 03-A3 action. The firearm features a tapered barrel and a blued finish on the receiver, while the barrel finish shows visible thinning and wear. It is mounted in a custom checkered walnut sporter stock decorated with fleur-de-lis carvings, a raised cheekpiece on the left side, and a metal buttplate. Key markings on the receiver bridge include U.S. / REMINGTON / MODEL 03-A3 and the serial number 3528145. The rifle is equipped with a Burris 4X-12X variable power scope with a duplex reticle on a Redfield base, and a black neoprene scope cover bearing the Leupold logo is included with the lot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The blued finish on the receiver is well-preserved, while the barrel shows significant thinning and handling wear to the finish. The custom walnut stock displays various handling marks and small dings consistent with field use, though the checkering remains well-defined. The metal buttplate shows visible oxidation and surface wear. The optics are clear with a functional adjustment dial, and the bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
