Lot 1358:
Description
This lot consists of nine semi-automatic pistol magazines primarily designed for the Tokarev TT-33 and its various international derivatives. The collection features a variety of patterns consistent with both military and commercial production. Included are magazines with standard flat baseplates, three examples featuring integral lanyard loops typical of Soviet and Eastern Bloc military issue, and two magazines equipped with curved polymer or steel finger extensions often found on commercial variants such as the Norinco 213 or Zastava M70. The magazines are constructed of blued steel with a mix of steel and aluminum baseplates. Witness hole configurations vary across the lot, including five-hole, six-hole, and single-hole patterns. Key markings include the digits 1233 followed by a cursive n and 2306 followed by a cursive u on the baseplates, along with various small inspection stamps. These magazines are chambered for 7.62x25mm Tokarev or 9mm Luger depending on the specific variant.
Condition report:
The magazines are in overall good to very good condition, exhibiting a range of original blued finish. Some examples show light thinning of the finish, minor surface oxidation, and typical handling marks consistent with age and use. The followers and springs appear to be under tension, though the magazines have not been function-tested in a firearm. The baseplates are secure, and the lanyard loops remain intact.
