Lot 136:
A Lot of 20 Rounds Federal American Eagle XM33C Ammunition .50 BMG
Sold for: $80
Description
This lot consists of 20 rounds of centerfire rifle ammunition manufactured by Federal under the American Eagle brand. These cartridges are chambered in .50 BMG and feature 660-grain full metal jacket (FMJ) projectiles. The ammunition is contained within two original black cardboard boxes, each labeled for 10 cartridges. Technical specifications include a brass casing with visible annealing marks at the neck and shoulder and a copper-jacketed bullet. Key markings on the packaging include the American Eagle logo, the caliber designation 50 BMG, the projectile weight of 660 Grain FMJ, and the model number XM33C. The headstamp on the base of each cartridge is marked L C 1 3, indicating manufacture by the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in 2013. Each primer is seated with a visible red sealant.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in excellent, live condition with clean brass casings and no signs of corrosion or oxidation. The projectiles are securely seated in the case necks. The two black cardboard boxes show minor shelf wear, including some light scuffing to the exterior surfaces and slightly frayed edges at the corners, but they remain intact and functional for storage.
