Description
This lot consists of 50 spent .300 Winchester Magnum brass cartridge casings intended for reloading purposes. The collection includes components from two major manufacturers, with headstamps transcribed verbatim as F C 300 WIN MAG for the Federal Cartridge Company pieces and W-W SUPER 300 WIN MAG for the Winchester-Western pieces. The casings are constructed of natural brass and are in various stages of post-fired condition, with a portion of the lot having been de-primed while others still retain their spent primers. The lot is comprised of 6 loose casings and a clear plastic bag containing the remaining 44 casings. These are inert components and do not contain live primers or powder.
Condition report:
The brass casings exhibit a natural finish with visible signs of previous use. Surface tarnish and minor oxidation are present on several pieces throughout the lot. The structural integrity of the case mouths and rims appears consistent with once-fired or multiple-fired range brass. No significant denting or terminal defects were observed on the visible samples.
