Description
A lot of 40 rounds of Remington High Velocity centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum. This lot consists of two original green and yellow cardboard boxes, with one box containing 225-grain pointed soft point bullets under product code R338W1 and the other containing 250-grain pointed soft point bullets under product code R338W2. The cartridges are constructed with brass casings and feature exposed lead-tipped projectiles. Key markings include the headstamp R-P 338 WIN MAG on each cartridge, while the boxes are printed with the Remington brand name, caliber, and specific grain weights.
Condition report:
The original cardboard boxes exhibit varying degrees of shelf wear, including scuffing to the printed finish, edge fraying, and some surface loss, with the 250-grain box showing more significant wear than the 225-grain box. The brass casings show light surface tarnish and minor oxidation consistent with age. The projectiles appear to be in good condition with intact lead tips. The ammunition appears to be live, though it has not been function-tested.
