Description
This is a Mossberg Model 100 ATR bolt-action rifle chambered in .270 Winchester, designed as a durable sporting and hunting firearm. The rifle features a matte blued finish on the metal components and is fitted with a black synthetic polymer stock. The stock is designed with textured grip areas on the forend and pistol grip, a raised cheekpiece, and a black rubber buttpad for recoil management. It comes equipped with a Bushnell Sportsman 4-12x40mm AO waterproof scope mounted on two-piece rails, featuring a duplex reticle and adjustable objective. A camouflage-patterned padded sling with black nylon straps is attached to the factory sling swivels. Key markings include the barrel inscription MOSSBERG 100 ATR CALIBER 270 WIN — NORTH HAVEN, CT. U.S.A. — and the serial number BA035132 located on the left side of the receiver. The bolt body is also engraved with the MOSSBERG name. We have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces retain a fair amount of the matte blued finish, though there is visible surface oxidation and light pitting present along the length of the barrel and near the muzzle. The synthetic stock shows minor handling marks and superficial scuffs but remains in good structural condition with intact texturing. The optics appear clear with a functional adjustable objective and a clean reticle. The bolt action cycles manually, though the firearm has not been test-fired. The bore was not inspected. The rubber buttpad and camouflage sling show light wear consistent with standard field use.
