Description
This Ruger American Compact is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, designed with a shorter length of pull for improved handling. The rifle features a matte black finish on the barrel and receiver, integrated with a black synthetic stock that includes textured grip and forend surfaces. A factory Picatinny-style optics rail is mounted to the top of the receiver, and the stock is fitted with a black rubber recoil pad and a grip cap bearing a red Ruger logo. Key markings include the model designation RUGER AMERICAN and the serial number 690816175 on the left side of the receiver, while the barrel is stamped with the caliber 7MM-08. Included is one detachable box magazine embossed with 308 MULTI-CALIBER and the Ruger logo. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good used condition with the matte black finish showing minor surface scuffs and handling marks on the barrel and receiver. The synthetic stock remains in good condition, exhibiting some light scratches and scuffs consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The bore was not inspected.
