Description
This Remington Model 700 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Remington, designed for precision applications with a heavy fluted stainless steel barrel. The rifle features a matte stainless finish on the barrel and receiver, paired with a jeweled bolt for smooth operation. The firearm is housed in a black synthetic stock featuring a gray web-like pattern and a textured grip, completed with a Remington-branded recoil pad. It is equipped with a Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5-20×44 scope with a fine crosshair reticle, mounted on Leupold bases and rings. Verbatim markings on the receiver include Remington MODEL 700 and the serial number S6463950. The barrel is marked REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. ILION, NY and 223 REM, with an REP proof mark in an oval. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel exterior surfaces show visible signs of storage-related wear, including scattered surface oxidation and light pitting on the barrel, bolt handle, and scope rings. The synthetic stock displays light scuffing and minor handling marks. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The scope glass is clear and the reticle is intact.
