Description
This lot consists of a quantity of 19 rounds of 7mm Rem. Magnum centerfire rifle ammunition housed in a Federal Premium cardboard box. The cartridges are fitted with copper-jacketed lead soft-point bullets, specifically identified on the packaging as 150-grain boat-tail soft points. This ammunition is designed for use in rifles chambered for the 7mm Remington Magnum caliber, a belted magnum cartridge known for high velocity and flat trajectory. Key markings on the box include Federal Premium, 7mm Rem. Magnum, 150 Gr. Boat-Tail Soft Point, and the model P7RD. A visual inspection of the headstamps reveals mixed contents within the box; verbatim markings include F C 7mm REM MAG for Federal Cartridge and W-W SUPER 7mm REM MAG for Winchester-Western. The cartridges are organized in a red plastic carrier, with sixteen rounds seated in the carrier and three rounds loose.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in fair to good condition. The brass casings show noticeable surface tarnish and areas of light oxidation consistent with age and storage. The copper jackets and lead soft-point tips exhibit minor darkening. The yellow and black cardboard box shows moderate shelf wear, including fraying at the corners, creasing on the end flaps, and minor crushing. The cartridges appear to be live and functional, though they have not been discharge-tested.
