Description
This Savage Arms bolt action rifle is chambered .222 REM MAG and is designed for varmint or target applications. The firearm features a stainless steel fluted barrel and a matching stainless receiver, paired with a blued bolt body that is marked with the Savage name and logo. The rifle is fitted with a black synthetic stock that includes molded checkering on the pistol grip and forend, a sliding tang safety, and a black rubber butt pad. The receiver is equipped with two-piece black scope mount bases. Key markings include the serial number G004451 on the left side of the receiver, while the barrel is stamped with the caliber designation .222 REM MAG along with the manufacturer warning and the Savage Arms address in Westfield, MA. This firearm is missing its sights and does not include a magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The overall condition is fair. The stainless steel surfaces of the barrel and receiver show light wear and minor oxidation, with more significant oxidation visible within the barrel flutes. The trigger guard exhibits heavy surface rust and pitting. The blued finish on the bolt body shows light operational wear. The synthetic stock is in good condition with minor scuffs and dings consistent with handling. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
