Description
This Winchester Model 94 is a lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Win, featuring a 20-inch blued barrel and a full-length magazine tube. The receiver is finished in case-hardening with decorative scroll engraving on both sides, a gold-toned loading gate, and a brass saddle ring on the left side. The firearm is fitted with a smooth walnut straight-grip stock and forend, ending in a black textured buttplate. Sighting equipment includes a hooded front sight and an adjustable rear ladder sight. Verbatim markings on the left side of the barrel include WINCHESTER — TRADE MARK — MADE IN U.S.A. — MODEL 94-30-30 WIN. — WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL — along with a WP proof mark on the top of the barrel. The serial number 3227574 is stamped on the underside of the receiver. A brown soft-sided carrying case is included with the lot. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish on the barrel and magazine tube is in very good condition with only minor surface marks. The case-hardened receiver retains vibrant colors and the engraving remains sharp. The walnut stock and forend exhibit minor handling marks and light compressions but no cracks or significant damage. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
