Description
This lot consists of 184 rounds of .380 Automatic centerfire ammunition, primarily manufactured by Western. The cartridges are housed in four vintage yellow and blue cardboard boxes, with each box containing 46 rounds. The ammunition features 95-grain full metal case copper-jacketed bullets, described on the packaging as Lubaloy, seated in brass cases. While three boxes contain predominantly Western-manufactured cartridges, one box contains a mixture of headstamps from various manufacturers. Verbatim headstamp markings observed across the lot include W-W 380 AUTO, WESTERN 380 AUTO, FEDERAL 380 AUTO, and BLAZER 380 AUTO. Some cartridges exhibit red primer sealant consistent with Western production standards. The packaging displays various markings including 380 AUTOMATIC Center Fire, 95 GRAIN Lubaloy BULLET, and NON-CORROSIVE PRIMING—SMOKELESS POWDER.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes show moderate shelf wear, including edge scuffing, corner rounding, and handwritten notations on one box lid. The ammunition is in good overall condition, with the brass cases showing minor age-related tarnish and the Lubaloy bullets retaining their copper-colored finish. The cartridges appear to be live and well-preserved.
