Description
This Rohm Model RG 15 is a two-shot, over/under break-open action derringer pistol chambered in .22 S.L.LR. The firearm features a chrome-plated finish on the frame and barrels, complemented by checkered cream-colored synthetic bird’s head grips. It is equipped with a fixed front sight blade integrated into the barrel rib, a serrated hammer, and a spur trigger. Key markings include the model and caliber designation RG 15 CAL. .22 S.L.LR on the left side of the barrel and MADE IN GERMANY on the right side. The top of the barrel rib is stamped ROHM G.M.B.H. SONTHEIM/BR. The frame is marked with the serial number 56842 and displays German proof marks on the right side near the hinge. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol exhibits a bright chrome finish with light handling wear and fine surface scratches throughout the plated surfaces. There are minor areas of finish loss and light oxidation visible around the muzzle, screw heads, and hinge. The checkered synthetic grips remain intact with no significant chips or cracks, though they show light discoloration from age. The bore was not inspected. The break-open action and hammer appear to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm for live fire.
