Description
This Remington Model 600 bolt-action rifle is chambered in .222 Remington and is configured as a sporting rifle. It features a blued barrel and receiver mounted in an aftermarket green-painted synthetic stock. The rifle is equipped with a Tasco variable power scope with 4x to 12x magnification, a duplex-style reticle, and a parallax adjustment dial on the objective bell, all secured to a one-piece Leupold base. The stock is finished with a black textured rubber recoil pad. Key markings include the serial number 69130 followed by Remington and MODEL 600 on the left side of the receiver. The left side of the barrel bears the inscription REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. along with patent numbers and the caliber marking .222 REM. This firearm is being sold as a parts gun as the bolt wont go into battery. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The metal surfaces, including the barrel, receiver, and bolt handle, exhibit significant and widespread surface oxidation, rust, and pitting. The aftermarket synthetic stock shows various scuffs, scrapes, and areas of paint wear. The Tasco scope shows external wear and rust on the mounting rings, though the reticle appears clear. Mechanically, the bolt wont go into battery, and we have not further function-tested this firearm.
