Description
This lot consists of three rifle barrels designed for the AR-15 platform, chambered in .223 Wylde and 5.56 NATO. The first barrel features a spiral-fluted profile with a black finish and is attributed to Bear Creek Arsenal based on the fluting pattern and markings. Key markings on this barrel specify .223 WYLDE 1:9 SS USA, indicating a stainless steel construction with a 1:9 twist rate. The second barrel is a government profile model manufactured by Core, featuring a black finish and two milled slots for a pinned gas block. Barrel markings specify CORE GOVT. PROFILE 5.56 1:9 Twist. The third barrel is a heavy-to-medium profile barrel produced by Windham Weaponry, featuring a black finish and markings that specify W-W 5.56 1/9. All three barrels feature threaded muzzles. This lot is missing gas blocks, gas tubes, and muzzle devices.
Condition report:
The barrels are in overall good condition with minor surface scuffs and handling marks consistent with light use. The Windham Weaponry barrel shows more pronounced finish wear and exposed metal at the gas block journal. The bores have not been inspected for rifling wear, and we have not function-tested these components.
