Description
This lot consists of eight bags containing a substantial quantity of spent brass cartridge cases chambered in .32-20 Winchester, intended for reloading purposes. The cases are of Winchester-Western manufacture, as evidenced by the headstamps. Key markings include the manufacturer initials W-W and the caliber designation 32-20 WIN incised on the base of each case. The brass displays a darkened patina and varying degrees of surface tarnish consistent with once-fired condition. Each case retains its spent primer, which shows a distinct firing pin strike. No live ammunition was observed within the lot during inspection.
Condition report:
The cartridge cases are in fired condition. The brass surfaces exhibit a natural aged patina with some areas of heavier tarnish and surface oxidation typical of previously used reloading components. The primer pockets remain occupied by spent primers. The case mouths appear generally uniform, though minor dings consistent with bulk storage and the ejection process may be present.
