Description
This bolt-action sporting rifle is built on a Mauser-style action and is chambered for the .22-250 Remington caliber. The firearm features a heavy-profile barrel with a matte black finish and is fitted with a Redfield one-piece scope base. The rifle is housed in an aftermarket Boyds’ laminated wood thumbhole stock characterized by three cooling vents in the forend, a high comb, and a black rubber recoil pad. Verbatim markings include the serial number P-79368 on the receiver and 22-250 REM on the barrel. The scope base is marked REDFIELD PAT. NO. 2,637,290 and the recoil pad features the BOYDS’ name. This rifle is missing its optics and iron sights, and the safety does not work. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish on the metal components is in good used condition, showing minor surface wear and scattered handling marks. The Boyds\' laminated stock remains attractive with very few signs of use. The bolt action appears to cycle correctly; however, the safety mechanism is non-functional and requires professional attention. The bore was not inspected. We have not function-tested this firearm.
