Description
This Ruger Model 10/22 Carbine is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 LR, a platform widely recognized for its reliability in recreational shooting and small game applications. The firearm is equipped with an 18.5-inch barrel featuring a blued finish and a black receiver, all mounted within a smooth walnut-finished hardwood stock that includes a black synthetic buttplate and a black barrel band. The sighting arrangement consists of a front blade sight and a folding rear aperture sight. Included with the lot is one flush-fit 10-round rotary magazine with Ruger branding and an original instruction manual for the 10/22 series. Key markings include the serial number 255-16713 roll-marked on the left side of the receiver, followed by RUGER MODEL 10/22 CARBINE .22 LR CALIBER and the manufacturer’s logo. The top of the barrel is engraved with verbatim safety warnings and the Sturm, Ruger & Co. Southport, Connecticut address. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in very good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and the black finish on the receiver show only minor handling marks and light surface wear. The walnut-finished wood stock remains attractive with a few scattered light dings and superficial scratches consistent with careful use. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
