Description
This semi-automatic rimfire pistol is a Stoeger Arms Corporation Luger chambered in .22 Long Rifle, designed to replicate the distinctive toggle-lock action and profile of the classic P08 Parabellum. The firearm is equipped with a 4.5 inch tapered barrel and an aluminum alloy frame finished in a glossy black coating. The furniture consists of smooth hardwood grip panels with a natural grain finish. The sighting system includes a fixed front blade and a rear notch sight located on the rear toggle link. Verbatim markings on the left side of the frame include the serial number 38289 followed by Manufactured in the U.S.A. by STOEGER ARMS CORPORATION S. HACKENSACK, NEW JERSEY PATENTS PENDING. The right side of the frame is marked CAL. .22 L.R. and features the LUGER trademark logo within a decorative scrollwork border. The top of the toggle mechanism bears a circular crest depicting two eagles within a crosshair. This lot includes one detachable magazine and a black Kolpin brand soft-sided zipper case with a handwritten tag corresponding to the serial number. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition, showing a well-maintained glossy black finish. Light finish wear is present on the sharp edges of the frame, the muzzle, and the knurled surfaces of the toggle knobs. The wood grip panels are in very good condition with no visible cracks or significant abrasions. The action appears to function correctly when manually cycled, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected but the exterior surfaces show no signs of corrosion or pitting.
