Description
This Ithaca Model 37 is a pump-action shotgun chambered for 16-gauge shells with a 2 3/4-inch chamber, featuring the model’s signature bottom-ejection and bottom-loading design. The barrel is fitted with an adjustable Poly-Choke at the muzzle and a single bead sight. The steel receiver features roll-engraved hunting scenes on both sides, with the left side depicting a pointer dog in a field and the right side showing waterfowl in flight over a marsh. The firearm is equipped with a ribbed walnut forend and a checkered walnut pistol grip stock, which is completed with a black polymer buttplate. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation on the barrel, transcribed as ITHACA GUN CO. INC. ITHACA, N.Y. – PATENT NO. 1849982 – MODEL-37, and the gauge designation 16 GA-2 3/4 CHAMBER-MADE IN U.S.A. Additional barrel markings specify PROOF TESTED and I. CYL.
