Lot 253:
Remington No. 7 1/2 Small Rifle Bench Rest Primers 1000 Count
Sold for: $55
Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of Remington No. 7 1/2 Small Rifle Bench Rest Primers designed for use in centerfire cartridges. The collection includes a total of 1,000 primers, originally packaged as ten individual boxes of 100 primers each within a larger outer brick. The primers are brass-colored and housed in black plastic 10×10 grid trays. Key markings on the green and orange cardboard packaging include the model designation No. 7 1/2 Small Rifle Bench Rest Primers, the Remington script logo, and the text FOR CENTERFIRE CARTRIDGES 1000 PRIMERS – 10 BOXES OF 100 EACH. The packaging also features safety warnings in both English and French, including Amorces Pour Percussion Centrale. These components are intended for precision reloading and bench rest shooting applications.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging exhibits minor shelf wear, including slight edge rubbing and corner softening, but remains in stable condition. The outer brick and the visible individual 100-count box are intact. The primers themselves appear bright and free of visible corrosion or oxidation. As with all older stock ammunition components, we have not tested the reliability or chemical stability of the priming compound.
