Description
This lot consists of a trio of RCBS Precisioneered reloading dies for .44 Special, contained within a standard green molded plastic case. The set includes three individual steel dies designed for various stages of the reloading process, featuring knurled adjustment surfaces for manual operation and one silver-toned locking ring. The exterior of the green case is marked RCBS PRECISIONEERED RIFLE & PISTOL DIES and includes a handwritten notation in white ink on the lid that reads 7mm Mag. A secondary, worn paper label on the side of the case features a handwritten pencil notation identifying the contents as 44 Spec. The interior of the case features four molded slots, with three dies present and one slot remaining vacant. Markings on the lower portion of the case lid include RCBS, INC., OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA 95965. The dies show evidence of previous use and light surface oxidation but appear to be in functional condition.
Condition report:
The green plastic storage case shows moderate external scuffing, accumulated dirt, and wear to the labels, including some peeling on the side identification sticker. The three steel dies exhibit minor surface discoloration, light spotting, and signs of use consistent with age. The knurled surfaces and threads remain well-defined, and the locking ring is present and adjustable.
