Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40mm Variable Power Rifle Scope
Sold for: $140
Description
This Vortex Diamondback rifle scope features a variable magnification range from 3x to 9x with a 40mm objective lens, finished in a durable matte black. The optic is built on a one-inch main tube and utilizes a second focal plane Dead-Hold BDC reticle, designed to assist with holdover and windage corrections. Technical features include capped reset turrets for windage and elevation adjustments, a knurled power adjustment ring, and a fast-focus eyepiece for rapid reticle clarity. Key markings transcribed verbatim include VORTEX DIAMONDBACK 3-9×40 inscribed on the objective bell and the VORTEX brand name on the central turret housing. The scope is accompanied by its original manufacturer box and a set of black elasticated lens covers. No mounting rings are included with this lot.
Condition report:
The scope is in good overall condition, showing minor superficial surface scuffs and handling marks on the matte black finish of the main tube consistent with previous mounting. The optics are clear and free of visible scratches or delamination. The windage and elevation turrets adjust with distinct, audible clicks, and the power adjustment ring rotates smoothly through the full magnification range. The included box shows light shelf wear.
