Sold for: $500
Description
This is a Remington Model 870 Super Mag pump-action shotgun chambered for 12-gauge shells. The firearm is designed to cycle 2 3/4-inch, 3-inch, and 3 1/2-inch magnum shells. It features a 28-inch ventilated rib barrel equipped with a single front bead sight. The metal surfaces exhibit a matte black finish on both the receiver and the barrel. The furniture consists of a checkered laminate wood stock and matching forend, providing a durable and textured grip. A black rubber recoil pad bearing the Remington name is fitted to the buttstock. Key markings include the model designation Remington 870 SUPER MAG and the serial number RS52956 D on the left side of the receiver. The right side of the receiver features a commemorative engraved logo for DELTA WATERFOWL 100 YEARS 1911-2011 depicting two duck heads within a triangle. Barrel markings specify REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY and indicate the chambering for 12 GA. 2 3/4″ AND 3″ shells, with a note that 3 1/2″ shells are ONLY WITH SUPER MAG RECEIVER. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish is in excellent condition with only very minor handling marks visible. The checkered laminate wood stock and forend are well-preserved with sharp checkering and no significant dings or scratches. The bore is bright and clean. The action cycles smoothly and the mechanical components appear to be in good working order.
