Lot 383:
A Pair of Savage Arms Bolt Action Rifle Stocks for Parts/Repair
Sold for: $20
Description
This lot consists of a pair of black synthetic bolt-action rifle stocks manufactured by Savage Arms, typically utilized for their rimfire series of rifles. Each stock is constructed from durable black polymer and features molded textured gripping surfaces on the forend and pistol grip to enhance handling. The stocks are equipped with integrated black polymer trigger guards, rubber recoil pads, and two sling swivel studs for the attachment of a sling. Key markings include the embossed circular Savage Arms logo on the base of the pistol grip, which depicts a stylized profile of a head wearing a feathered headdress. One stock features a small white inventory sticker with the number 13052. These items are being sold as furniture components only and are missing the barrels, receivers, bolts, magazines, and trigger assemblies. Clear adhesive tape is present around the midsection of both stocks, likely utilized to secure internal spacers or small components.
Condition report:
The synthetic stocks are in used condition, exhibiting minor surface scuffs, light scratches, and dust accumulation throughout from previous handling or storage. The polymer construction remains structurally sound with no observed cracks or significant impact damage. The rubber recoil pads are intact with minor wear to the edges. The integrated trigger guards and sling swivel studs show light surface wear but remain functional for their intended purpose. No mechanical testing was performed as these are non-serialized firearm accessories.
