Lot 385:
A Lot of 118 Rounds of Winchester and Western .45 Automatic Ammunition
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot consists of 118 rounds of .45 caliber centerfire ammunition contained within three individual boxes. The collection features one Winchester USA white cardboard box and two Western Super-Match yellow cardboard boxes. The Winchester box is marked 45 Automatic 230 Gr. Full Metal Jacket and 50 Centerfire Cartridges, though it currently holds 50 rounds of lead semi-wadcutter ammunition with headstamps reading W-W 45 AUTO. The first Western Super-Match box contains 50 rounds of lead semi-wadcutter ammunition arranged in a plastic tray. The second Western Super-Match box contains 18 loose cartridges with copper-jacketed hollow point bullets. Printed markings on the Western packaging include Western X Super-Match Center Fire Cartridges and 45 Automatic Match Clean Cutting. This ammunition is intended for use in .45 Automatic caliber firearms.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging exhibits significant age-related wear, including staining, abrasions, and structural tearing at the corners and edges. The ammunition shows surface oxidation on the lead bullet components and typical tarnish on the brass casings. The cartridges appear to be in fair to good overall condition and are sold as-is.
