Lot 388:
A Pair of Winchester Super-X Ammunition .45 Winchester Magnum
Sold for: $65
Description
This lot consists of a pair of Winchester Super-X centerfire pistol-revolver ammunition boxes chambered in .45 Winchester Magnum. Each box is factory-labeled to contain 20 cartridges featuring 230-grain Full Metal Case (FMC) bullets. A visual inspection of the opened tray reveals a verified count of 19 cartridges, with one empty slot in the carrier. The cartridges are fitted with copper-jacketed bullets and brass cases. Verbatim markings on the headstamps are transcribed as W-W SUPER 45 WIN MAG. The white cardboard packaging features the red and orange striped Winchester trade dress with the rider logo and is marked with product code X45WM2. A prominent warning on the front of the boxes states the ammunition is not for arms chambered for standard 45 Automatic.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in good condition and is considered live. The brass cases are bright and free of significant corrosion or tarnish, and the copper-jacketed bullets are clean and properly seated. The cardboard boxes exhibit minor shelf wear, including light soiling, small creases at the corners, and slight softening of the edges, though all printed text and graphics remain clear and legible.
