Description
This Mossberg Model 835 Ulti-Mag is a pump-action shotgun chambered for 12-gauge shells in 2 3/4, 3, and 3 1/2-inch lengths. It features a 28-inch blued barrel equipped with a ventilated rib, ported muzzle, and an Accu-Mag choke system. The metal surfaces consist of a blued barrel and a black finished receiver featuring a sliding tang safety. The furniture is constructed of satin-finished wood, including a buttstock and a forend with diamond-pattern checkering on the underside. Sighting is provided by dual beads, including a brass mid-bead and a white front bead. The buttstock is fitted with a ventilated brown rubber recoil pad and both the stock and magazine cap include sling swivel studs. Key markings include the manufacturer and model on the underside of the receiver as Mossberg Made in USA North Haven, Conn. 835 12 GA. and the serial number UM 369807 on the lower left side of the receiver. The barrel is marked Mossberg Model 835 Ulti-Mag Chambered for 2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2 In. Shells 12 Ga. 28 In. Accu-Mag Choke Not For Use With Slugs along with a circled P proof. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in good used condition. The blued and black finishes show light surface wear and minor scratches, particularly on the receiver. Faint oxidation is present on the bolt assembly. The wood stock and forend are in good condition with minor handling marks and a well-preserved satin finish. The bore appears bright. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
