Description
This Savage Model 93R17 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for .17 HMR, specifically configured for precision and varmint hunting. The rifle features a 21-inch heavy blued steel barrel and a blued receiver mounted in a grey and black laminated wood thumbhole stock with a ventilated black rubber recoil pad. The optic is a Pine Ridge 3-9x40mm scope featuring a duplex reticle and an elevation turret calibrated for the .17 HMR cartridge. Verbatim barrel markings include -SAVAGE MODEL 93R17 CAL. 17 H.M.R. ONLY-, MFG. BY SAVAGE ARMS (CANADA) INC. LAKEFIELD, ONT. CANADA, and -IMPORTED BY SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MA. U.S.A. 01085-. The receiver is stamped with the serial number 0972348 on the left side. The rifle is accompanied by one detachable box magazine and a set of elasticized lens covers. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent physical condition, showing minimal signs of use. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is deep and consistent with negligible wear. The laminated wood stock is in excellent condition with no significant dings or handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The optic lenses are clear and the reticle is sharp.
