Description
This lot consists of a pair of soft-sided long gun cases designed for rifles or shotguns. The first case is constructed from a red and black synthetic material featuring a side-mounted zipper, a black carrying handle, and a reinforced black muzzle cap. A yellow rectangular label is present on one side with the letters B A T clearly visible, attributed to Boyt. The second case is fashioned from a brown synthetic material with decorative diagonal quilted stitching and includes a side zipper and a brown carrying handle. Both cases are designed to accommodate standard-length long guns. There are no other visible manufacturer markings on the brown case. Note that the brown case exhibits some material loss in the form of small punctures and tears.
Condition report:
Both items exhibit signs of age and moderate use. The red and black case shows surface scuffs and light soil throughout the synthetic exterior. The brown case shows more significant wear, including several small punctures and tears in the material located near the handle and along the main body. The zippers on both cases appear to be functional, though they have not been tested with a firearm. The interior linings show typical wear consistent with the exterior condition.
