110 .500 S&W, .458 Socom, .50 AE Spent Casings
Sold for: $50
Description
This lot consists of a collection of 110 spent metallic cartridge casings intended for reloading, organized into three clear plastic zip-top bags and one rectangular plastic tub. The collection features a variety of calibers, with a significant portion identified by headstamps as .500 Smith & Wesson Magnum. Visible markings on the case heads include 500 S&W MAG and COR-BON 500 S&W MAG. Additionally, several bottlenecked rifle casings are present, with markings such as 458 Socom and .50 AE The casings are constructed from both standard yellow brass and nickel-plated brass. This lot contains only fired, empty components; no live ammunition, projectiles, or powder are included.
Condition report:
The casings are in spent, once-fired condition. They exhibit typical signs of use including surface tarnish, carbon fouling around the case mouths and primer pockets, and minor handling marks or light scratches consistent with mechanical ejection and storage. The nickel plating on some examples shows minor wear but remains largely intact. All primers have been struck and the cases are inert.
