Condition report:
The rifle exhibits visible signs of use and age-related wear. The blued finish on the barrel shows areas of thinning and light pitting, particularly toward the muzzle. The receiver has aged to a uniform plum color. The bolt body shows significant surface oxidation and visible spots of rust. The walnut stock remains in good condition with minor handling marks, dings, and scratches consistent with field use, while the checkering remains well-defined. The red rubber recoil pad shows some discoloration and light wear. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
