Description
This lot features a Sig Sauer model SIG516 semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO, utilizing a short-stroke gas piston operating system. The firearm is equipped with an approximately 16-inch barrel fitted with a standard birdcage-style flash hider and a quad-rail handguard for accessory attachment. The rifle features a matte black finish on its aluminum receivers and is outfitted with Magpul MOE furniture, including an adjustable polymer stock and a textured pistol grip. A FAB Defense MG-20 vertical foregrip with an integrated magazine carrier is attached to the bottom Picatinny rail. Key markings include the manufacturer and model designation SIG SAUER SIG516 5.56 NATO on the left side of the lower receiver, while the right side is marked SIG SAUER INC. EXETER-NH-USA and bears the serial number 20A 001544. The polymer stock is marked MADE IN USA and the foregrip is marked MADE IN ISRAEL. The fire selector is marked SAFE and SEMI. This firearm is missing sights and does not include a magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle appears to be in very good overall condition. The matte black finish shows only minor handling wear and light scuffing on the metal surfaces and bolt carrier. The polymer furniture is well-preserved with minimal signs of use. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected.
