Lot 544:
A Lot of 400 Mixed Manufacturer 6.5 Creedmoor Once-Fired Brass Casings
Sold for: $140
Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of 400 once-fired 6.5 Creedmoor brass shell casings intended for ammunition reloading. The casings are presented in a jumbled state within a cardboard shipping container. The collection features a mix of manufacturers, with visible headstamps transcribed verbatim as norma 6.5 CREEDMOOR, HORNADY 6.5 CREEDMOOR, and S & B 6.5 CREEDMOOR. Each casing retains its spent primer within the primer pocket, indicating they have not been processed or de-primed since their initial use. The brass displays a natural aged patina with some surface oxidation and carbon fouling around the case mouths and necks, which is typical for fired components. No live rounds, bullets, or propellant are included in this lot.
Condition report:
The brass casings are in good, once-fired condition. The exterior surfaces show typical discoloration and light oxidation from exposure and handling. Firing residue is present on the interior and neck areas. The case rims and extractor grooves appear to be in functional condition without significant deformation. The primer pockets are intact but contain spent primers. The lot is unprocessed and will require cleaning, resizing, and de-priming before use.
