Lot 59:
A Collection of 4 Smith & Wesson Lifetime Service Policy Rubber Counter Mats
Sold for: $45
Description
This lot features a collection of 4 Smith & Wesson advertising counter or workbench mats, typically utilized by dealers for display or maintenance tasks. Each rectangular mat is manufactured from black rubber with a textured, nubbed surface designed to prevent the marring of firearm finishes. The mats feature raised, cream-colored lettering and a central circular monogram logo. Prominent markings transcribed from the face of each mat include SMITH & WESSON and LIFETIME SERVICE POLICY positioned above the central S&W logo, with OUR QUALITY COMMITMENT and TO YOU located below. The reverse of each mat is finished in plain black rubber. These items represent authentic promotional materials used to highlight the manufacturer’s commitment to service and quality.
Condition report:
The mats exhibit signs of light use and are in good overall condition. There is a presence of surface dust and minor staining within the textured nubs. The cream-colored pigment on the raised lettering and logos shows some thinning and localized wear from contact. The rubber material remains supple and free of significant cracking. The reverse sides show minor scuffing and retain small adhesive inventory stickers.
