Description
This Stevens Model 77F pump-action shotgun is chambered for 12 gauge shells with a 3 inch chamber. It features a 26 inch barrel equipped with a factory Savage Adjustable Choke system, which allows for Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder settings. The firearm is constructed with a blued steel receiver and barrel, paired with a horizontally ribbed wooden forend and a wooden buttstock. A single bead front sight is positioned at the muzzle, and the buttstock is fitted with a ventilated red rubber recoil pad. Key markings include the model and manufacturer designation on the left side of the receiver, roll-stamped STEVENS MODEL 77F / SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION / WESTFIELD, MASS. U. S. A. The barrel is marked PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE / 3 INCH CHAMBER and bears an SP proof mark within an oval. Small circular inspection marks containing the characters 22J and 25T are visible near the barrel-receiver junction. No serial number is visible on the exterior surfaces. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in fair overall condition. The blued finish on the receiver and barrel shows thinning and scattered light scratches. The bolt surface visible through the ejection port exhibits significant pitting and surface oxidation. The wooden stock and forend show typical minor handling marks and small dings consistent with field use. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
