Lot 64:
A Lot of 98 GOEX Black Dawge .45 Caliber 235 Grain Cast Lead Projectiles
Sold for: $55
Description
This lot features a collection of ninety-eight cast lead projectiles and three original retail boxes from the GOEX Black Dawge brand. These components are designed for traditional black powder centerfire cartridge reloading in .45 caliber. The projectiles are 235-grain lead bullets with a round nose flat point profile and a .454-inch diameter, each featuring a single grease groove for lubrication. The cardboard packaging is prominently marked GOEX Black Dawge Cartridges, Traditional Black Powder Ammunition, and 50 Center Fire Cartridges. A white adhesive label on the box end specifies the contents as 45 Cal. 235 Gr. .454 Dia. RNFP. The lot includes two styrofoam trays; the bottom tray is complete with fifty projectiles, while the top tray contains forty-eight projectiles, with two positions empty. No brass casings, powder, or primers are included in this lot. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.
Condition report:
The cast lead projectiles show a uniform matte grey finish with no significant oxidation or surface damage. The styrofoam inserts show minor discoloration from the bullet lubricant. The three cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, including frayed corners, edge compression, and some loss to the printed red and black finish, though all text remains legible.
