Description
This Colt Government Model is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, designed as a full-sized variant of the classic 1911 platform. It features a 5-inch barrel with the hood marked CAL 9MM LUGER -PARABELLUM- and a matte blue finish across the slide and frame. The furniture consists of checkered wood grips with traditional diamond patterns around the grip screws. The pistol is equipped with fixed three-dot sights and a standard spur hammer. Key markings include the left side of the slide roll-marked COLT’S GOVERNMENT MODEL 9mm LUGER CALIBER with the Rampant Colt logo, and the right side of the frame marked COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. with the serial number NN02365. This lot is accompanied by its original blue plastic Colt hard case labeled Model O1992, a Series 80 Pistols instruction manual, an orange chamber safety flag, a warning hang tag, and four single-stack magazines. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte blue finish is in excellent condition, showing only minor surface scuffs on the left side of the slide near the muzzle. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The checkered wood grips are well-preserved with crisp diamond patterns and no significant wear. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
