Description
This Remington Model 700 is a bolt action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, featuring a heavy profile barrel equipped with a large three port muzzle brake. The rifle is mounted in a black Magpul Hunter 700 polymer stock featuring an adjustable length of pull with spacers, an ergonomic grip with textured panels, and M-LOK slots along the forend. The matte black finished receiver is fitted with a set of two piece scope rings and a knurled tactical bolt handle. Markings on the left side of the receiver include Remington MODEL 700 and the serial number D6233428. The barrel is marked .308 WIN along with a warning to read the instruction book for safe operation from REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC., ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. and proof marks near the breech including Y CO 40 and a stylized SD in an oval. The rifle is equipped with a detachable Magpul PMAG 5 7.62 AC magazine and a front sling swivel. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good used condition. The matte black finish on the barrel and receiver shows light surface wear with several minor scratches and scuffs, particularly along the midsection of the barrel. The bolt handle shows finish thinning on the knurling from operation. The Magpul stock is in good condition with only minor handling marks. The bore is not visible for inspection but the action appears to function correctly. The muzzle brake is securely attached and shows light signs of use.
