Sold for: $45
Description
This lot features a total of 700 cartridges of Western Super-X .22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition. The cartridges consist of brass cases loaded with copper-plated round nose lead bullets. The ammunition is contained within two yellow cardboard boxes featuring iconic red and blue graphics. Verbatim markings on the packaging include the Western name in red script, a large red X with SUPER printed in blue on a white bar, and the designation RIM FIRE CARTRIDGES. The brass headstamps display markings consistent with the Super-X line, featuring either a stylized X or the word SUPER positioned above a large X. This ammunition is compatible with firearms chambered for .22 LR and .22 Long cartridges. The boxes utilize internal cardboard trays to hold the individual rounds.
Condition report:
The original cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear consistent with age, including corner fraying, creasing, and minor surface staining. The ammunition remains in good overall condition, with the brass cases and copper-plated bullets exhibiting a light natural patina. The cartridges appear to be live and well-preserved.
