Sold for: $80
Description
A Lot of 2000 vintage shotshell primers manufactured by Cascade Cartridge, Inc. (CCI) of Lewiston, Idaho. These No. 209B Winchester Size shotshell caps are designed for reloading standard shotshell hulls and utilize a non-corrosive and non-mercuric priming mixture. The collection consists of two 1000-count cardboard boxes featuring the manufacturer’s distinctive green, black, and white diamond-patterned graphics. Transcribed markings on the packaging include the CCI logo within diamond frames, shotshell caps, NON-CORROSIVE, NON-MERCURIC, NO. 209B, and WINCHESTER SIZE. The manufacturer’s details are listed as cascade cartridge, inc., Lewiston, Idaho. The lot includes pink plastic internal trays, with one tray displayed containing 100 bright brass-colored primers.
Condition report:
The outer cardboard packaging shows signs of age-related wear, including scuffing, light staining, and edge wear consistent with long-term storage. The green and white diamond pattern exhibits some yellowing over time. The internal plastic tray appears structural and intact. The primers show a clean brass finish with no evidence of moisture damage or significant corrosion. The ammunition components appear live, though we have not function-tested them.
