Lot 1143:
Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 Side-Charging Semi-Automatic Receiver Assembly Multi Cal
Sold for: $160
Description
This partial AR-15 style semi-automatic firearm assembly consists of an Anderson Manufacturing lower receiver and a side-charging upper receiver. The assembly is currently configured without a barrel, handguard, or magazine. The upper receiver features a right-side charging handle marked with the characters BCA, indicating a Bear Creek Arsenal component. The lower receiver is finished in black anodized aluminum and is equipped with a Magpul extended magazine release. The furniture consists of a textured olive drab green polymer pistol grip and a black polymer pistol brace mounted on a black buffer tube with a gold-toned end plate. Key markings on the lower receiver include Anderson Manufacturing, Hebron, KY, AM-15, Multi Cal, and the serial number 23077759. The charging handle is marked BCA and the magazine release is marked Magpul. This item is being sold for parts or restoration. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The black anodized finish on both the upper and lower receivers shows visible edge wear, surface scuffing, and minor scratches from handling. The gold-toned end plate shows some wear to the finish. As there is no barrel present, the bore condition cannot be evaluated. The side-charging bolt carrier group moves freely within the upper receiver, and the trigger mechanism appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this assembly. The polymer pistol grip and brace show minor signs of use with light surface marks and dust in the textured areas.
