Remington No. 2½ Large Pistol Primers (1,000 Count)
Sold for: $75
Description
This lot features a factory bulk carton of 1,000 Remington No. 2½ Large Pistol Primers designed for reloading centerfire cartridges. The primers are divided into ten individual 100-count boxes, one of which is shown open to reveal a black plastic grid tray containing 100 brass-colored primers. The outer green and orange cardboard packaging and the inner sleeves are marked with the manufacturer name Remington and the model designation No. 2½ Large Pistol Primers. Transcribed markings include FOR CENTERFIRE CARTRIDGES, 1000 PRIMERS – 10 BOXES OF 100 EACH, and a circular logo on the side that reads MADE IN THE U.S.A. around a central star. The inner box sleeve also displays several proof marks including CIP M and a crown over the letters BNP. These components are intended for handloading various large pistol calibers and are organized for easy use in priming tools.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging shows minor shelf wear consistent with age, including slight creasing, edge wear, and blunting at the corners. The outer carton remains structurally sound. The visible primers in the open box appear in clean, excellent condition with bright brass surfaces and no evidence of corrosion, oxidation, or environmental damage. All primers appear to be live and unused.
