Description
This lot consists of 60 rounds of Federal Ammunition “Deer Thugs” Power-Shok centerfire rifle cartridges chambered in .30-30 Winchester. The collection includes two 20-round boxes of 150 grain bonded soft point ammunition and one 20-round box of 170 grain bonded soft point ammunition. These cartridges feature reloadable brass casings and bonded soft point projectiles designed for controlled expansion and deep penetration, suitable for medium game hunting. The packaging features a Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity camouflage pattern. Key markings on the packaging include the Federal Ammunition logo, the Deer Thugs and Mossy Oak branding, the caliber designation 30-30 Win., and the specific model numbers DT3030A for the 150 grain loads and DT3030B for the 170 grain load. Verbatim transcription of the cartridge headstamps confirms the manufacturer and caliber as F C and 30-30 WIN. The primers are seated with a visible blue sealant to protect against moisture.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in overall good condition. The brass cases remain bright with no evidence of significant oxidation or corrosion. The bonded soft point projectiles are intact, though some minor darkening is visible on the exposed lead tips as is typical for this type of ammunition. All primers appear unspent and the sealant is present. The cardboard packaging shows moderate shelf wear, including scuffing to the printed surfaces and minor tears or fraying at the corners and edges of the flaps.
