Gun Collectors Dream Auction #84 June 13th & 14th
Lot 1184:
Sold for: $85
Description
This lot comprises a collection of six factory magazines produced by Glock for the Model 23 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W. These magazines are constructed with a durable black polymer exterior molded over a steel internal lining. Each magazine has a capacity of 13 rounds, with the rear of the body featuring two rows of viewing ports numbered from 4 to 13 for round count assessment. Verbatim markings on the rear include .40 at the top, the Glock logo, and AUSTRIA, though one magazine is marked with the code 1636-03 and another displays a small numeral 2 adjacent to the logo. Two of the magazines have the number 23 handwritten in silver-toned marker on the upper body. The baseplates are embossed with the manufacturer logo. These magazines exhibit light external wear consistent with standard use and storage.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good overall condition. The polymer bodies show some surface scuffs, handling marks, and light dust, but remain structurally sound. The steel-lined feed lips show no signs of bending or damage. The followers and springs appear functional, though they have not been loaded or live-fire tested. The floor plates are securely fitted to the magazine bodies.
