Description
This is a Kel-Tec SUB-2000 Gen 2 semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine chambered in 9mm Luger, featuring a signature folding design for compact transport. The firearm is equipped with a 16.25-inch blued steel barrel featuring a threaded muzzle with a protective nut and a black polymer M-LOK compatible handguard. The receiver and furniture are constructed of black polymer, including a textured pistol grip and a folding stock with an adjustable length of pull. This specific unit is a Friends of NRA edition, identified by a commemorative logo on the blued steel buffer tube. The carbine is outfitted with a protected front post sight, an adjustable rear aperture sight, and an olive drab TDI Arms FFG-2 folding foregrip. Verbatim markings on the receiver include SUB-2000 and KEL TEC CNC INC COCOA FL MADE IN USA. The pistol grip is stamped G17 / 22 MAG, indicating compatibility with Glock 17 and 22 magazines, and the bolt is marked 9MM LUGER. The right side of the buffer tube is engraved with the FRIENDS OF NRA logo and the serial number ERE00. Included with the carbine is one extended-capacity Glock-style magazine, the original factory box with a matching serial number label, and a safety instruction and parts manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The carbine is in good overall condition, retaining most of its original blued and matte black finishes. Minor finish wear is present on the muzzle nut, with light handling marks and superficial scuffs visible on the polymer handguard and stock. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly when cycled by hand; however, we have not function-tested this firearm. The polymer components are structurally sound with no cracks or significant damage noted.
