Description

This Stevens Model 325-C is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, a configuration traditionally favored for deer hunting and general utility. The rifle features a blued finish on the barrel and receiver and is mounted in a plain, light-colored hardwood stock. It includes a total of three detachable box magazines, providing additional capacity. For sighting, the rifle retains its original front blade and rear elevator iron sights, and it has been upgraded with a vintage side-mounted Weaver scope. The scope is marked Weaver El Paso Tex Made in USA and is held in a Weaver Side-1 mount, offering a fine crosshair reticle for improved precision. The butt of the stock is fitted with a red, ventilated rubber recoil pad featuring the J.C. Higgins signature. Prominent markings on the left side of the receiver include Stevens, Savage Arms Corporation, Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A., Model 325-C, and Proof Tested Cal. 30-30. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The rifle is in good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver shows signs of thinning and light operational wear, particularly at the high points and on the bolt handle. The hardwood stock remains solid, exhibiting typical minor handling dings, scratches, and light pressure marks. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function correctly and cycles smoothly. The Weaver scope optics are clear, and the crosshair reticle is intact.
