Description
This lot consists of three HKS revolver speedloaders designed for the rapid reloading of centerfire revolvers. Two of the units are contained within their original retail blister packaging and are identified as Model 587-A, specifically engineered for .357 Magnum use with Smith & Wesson 686 Magnum Plus 7-shot revolvers. The third unit is a loose loader identified as Model 36, a standard configuration for small-frame 5-shot revolvers such as the Smith & Wesson J-frame in .38 Special or .357 Magnum. Each loader is constructed with a durable black polymer body and a central knurled aluminum locking knob. Verbatim markings on the packaged Model 587-A knobs include H.K.S. 587 and PAT. 4202123, while the loose unit is marked HKS 36. The retail cards identify the manufacturer as HKS Products, Florence, KY 41042. These accessories do not include firearms or ammunition.
Condition report:
The two packaged speedloaders remain in their original retail blister packs, which exhibit significant shelf wear, including age-related yellowing of the plastic, creasing of the cardstock, and minor tears along the edges. Original price stickers of $9.00 and $10.00 are present on the cards. The speedloaders themselves appear to be in excellent, unused condition. The loose Model 36 loader shows light surface wear on the polymer body and minor darkening of the knurled knob consistent with handling and storage, but the internal locking mechanism appears to function correctly.
