Description
This lot comprises four 18-round magazines manufactured by Mec-Gar for use with the Taurus PT 92 and PT 99 semi-automatic pistol series chambered in 9mm Parabellum. Each magazine is constructed of carbon steel with a black anti-friction coating, intended to provide smooth feeding and reliable extraction. The design includes high-tensile strength springs, black polymer followers, and flush-fit black polymer floorplates. Key markings include the model designation PT 92 stamped above the Mec-Gar triangular logo and the text MEC-GAR with a registered trademark symbol. The rear spine of each magazine body features two vertical columns of staggered witness holes with corresponding numerical indicators from 2 through 18. Additionally, the magazines are marked Made in Italy on the upper side of the body. The magazines are designed for high-capacity performance in a standard double-stack configuration.
Condition report:
The magazines are in good used condition, showing finish wear consistent with repeated insertion and extraction. Minor scratches and finish thinning are present on the steel bodies, particularly along the high-contact edges and around the witness holes. The black anti-friction coating remains mostly intact. The polymer followers and baseplates exhibit minor surface scuffs but are free of cracks or structural damage. The internal springs provide strong tension, and the followers move freely within the magazine bodies.
